Man, I ate something that really disagreed with me yesterday. I woke up around 4 in the morning with nearly debilitating pains in my digestive track. After a couple of hours of pain, it slowly settled down, but it hasn't yet left me completely. What a way to start the work week, wouldn't you say?
So the long weekend was nice. On Saturday though, I was totally annoyed by my favorite sushi place's bad choices. First rule of business as a restaurant, stay open on holidays. This is the second time now that they have done this, insofar as it has effect me. The first time was Mother's Day. Mother's Day, of all days, is huge for lunch, but they were closed. They were also closed for Labor Day. Just not a smart choice. Oh well, ended up going to Jae's, which wasn't much of a substitute, but it still satisfied everyone else, but that night had been meant for the other place, because they all wanted to know what really good sushi was. What can you do though? Sometimes nothing.
For the most part, the rest of my long weekend was spent walking about Boston or reading. It was just nice not having to think or be required to do anything till Tuesday. My sister will be leaving next Friday. It still has yet to sink in. Apparently they've got a place to live now though .... one step forward I guess. This just means I'll be the only one of my family left in Boston. Down from three. I shall endure.
So the girl I was hoping to date has not returned my calls. Frankly, I think I just have no ability to pursue. I try, but I so rarely succeed. Pursuing someone requires certain skills I'm afraid I lack, both social and physical I suppose. What a fun game it is to play though.
