I'm doing what I'll refer to as the "Happy Aaron Dance". God damn my buddy Peter is a freaking genius. We finished our work on recording the vocals for a beach boys-like song, and it turned out utterly fantastic. Some horns, strings, guitar, and piano have to be recorded still, but even without those, and unproduced vocals, it sounds utterly amazing. I'm just boucing up and down with joy at the way it turned out. I have a rough mix I want to send out to everyone I know, but I'm restraining myself for the final, produced version which should just sound splendid. I'm so happy right now. I feel like I'm taking speed ...

Two nights of vocal recordings was all it took. If we had taken several more days, we could have ironed out other parts of it a bit better, but there was an issue of time, so who gives a damn!

Last night we finished the night with a celebratory Cantillon Kriek Lambic. So! Friggin! Good!
