So I can officially say I got laid thanks to the assistance of my cab driver. There's a lesson to be learned from the situation, you tip someone well, you never know how they may thank you.
So I walked the girl to her door after hoping out of the cab, and then the cabbie rolled up next to us, and essentially ordered the girl to invite me in for "tea, water, or some kind of drink". I won't divulge any more, but needless to say, I no longer hate all taxi drivers.
So my aunt and uncle visited this past week. Man, are they ever active people. I did so much sight-seeing and other such nonsense that I'm just about ready to do nothing this week. Then my little sister arrives in a week, at which time I'll be partying nonstop for another 10 days. I'm getting a cold, so I'm going to have to try my hardest to kick this thing before she arrives. We'll see, but I'm sure with enough water and sleep I'll survive.
So I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with this new girl. She's quite a fantastic girl in some respects, though in others I know we are not going to mesh well. Regardless, I was quite impressed when she matched me beer for beer, especially belgian beers. Its amusing, my first thought when I saw her was "those folks sure have a hot nanny", which later turned out that she wasn't their nanny, but their niece. With that crowd though, it wasn't a surprising mistake.
I have yet to meet my best friend's new girlfriend. He's been dating her for a couple of weeks now, and he's nervous of introducing me to her because of her belief that those who smoke pot are drug addicts. Though I've promised him that I'll behave, I understand his skepticism. I look forward to meeting this girl though, as he has had nothing but good things to say about her.
Not much else on my mind right now. Just hoping that I don't get any more sick than I already am. I hate getting sick.
