So last night I lost at poker yet again. It was rather dissapointing considering the substantial lead I had when there were only 3 of us left. Oh well, a little too drunk and reason tends to fly out the window. I had a lot of fun, and my whiskey dinner was quite fantastic, a little bit of The Balvinie Doublewood and a little bit of Woodfords Reserve. Tasty and satisfying, until this morning, but I was willing to accept the pain for the fun I had.
Not a whole lot on my mind right now, though I've been pondering trying to write a vocal lines for my buddy's band. We'll see about that though, mainly because that type of music isn't what I listen to at all, so it wouldn't carry the same quality I think he's looking for, but I'm antsy to write lately, so perhaps I'll do it just for fun. We'll see. First he has to record it with the other instruments, then I'll try my luck with it.
Can't wait for my little sister to visit. Less than a month!
I've had Zepplin's Dazed and Confused in my head for the last 3 weeks now. I can't help but sing it everywhere I go. Such good music, but damn, hearing it over and over can be tiring, especially when you're hearing only the vocal parts cause its only me singing it. Oh well, I love the sound of my own voice, so I guess I can't complain too much.
