I've found lately that I have to constantly remind myself that I live in the city, and that nearly getting run down by some guy whos having a conference call from the leather recliner chair situated in front of the steering wheel of his Escalade thats travelling twice the legal speed limit down a residential street is all just part of living in the city. Stepping out of my house into a pile of human feces is normal. Reminding myself that I live in the city helps me feel less anger towards the people that do these sorts of things. I am free to leave, move to some rural part of Idaho, but I'm still young and I want to surround myself with people and things and culture while I can still enjoy it. Its unfortunate that angry hurried people are all part of the diversity this city is known for. Someday I will live among the trees and the squirrels, but not until I'm ready to grow old and give up my exciting car dodging lifestyle.
Everything is.
Everything is.
