I work in Detroit and find dogs on the streets all the time. I have rescued a 6 month old German Shepard who is now a certified special needs dog for wounded veterans. A American Bulldog who some friends adopted. A Greyhound/Pointer who had a microchip and was reunited with his owners. A Blue Heeler that my brother's family adopted. Lastly the 2 pits shown above who were left at a burnt down house. I took them in for 2 months but due to my roommates daughter turned them in to Detroit Animal Care and Control, a place I volunteer at when I have time
