this week is

[ie] hell week for me.
it's insanity busy coordinating all my writers and photographers from SoundProof Magazine but I know once this week is over and Canadian Music Week has started .. it's gunna be worth it.
we have our 2nd annual Showcase happening ::

it's official.
i love my job.

went for dinner with the president of my company and jack tonight.
we're doing a restaurant launch.
and we had to go to the restaurant to test the food.
i ate just enough food.
the most delish shrimp risotto.
crab cakes.
an amazing potato and mushroom lasagna (with no pasta).
warm chocolate cake.
lots of vodka crans.
and a glass of white wine.
all for free.

the tiredness i was feeling earlier.
gone.
so totally gone.
i don't even feel hammered.

we were at the restaurant from 6pm-9.30pm.
just having a great time.
enjoying one another's company.
having a discussion with john, the chef. who is one of our client's nephews.
and just thinking what we can do to launch this restaurant.

later richard [the pres of my company] drove me home.
and he later told me that the house two doors down from mine used to be owned by sam schinderman aka. sam the record man.

bought chromeo tickets yesterday.
woot.
i dunno if the promoters were lying.
or rotate was lying.
or what.
but the promoters sent out a message on FB saying 100 tickets were left. so i called rotate and they said tickets were sold out.
so i posted on FB saying saying "f, tickets sold out."
so the promoters post back saying, don't believe the hype. tickets arent sold out.
mass confusion!!
but either way, a girl messaged me and was like, i bought 2 extra tickets. i'll sell them to you for face value.

my friend threw a leap day party on friday.
