speaking of birthday love, this past friday i had a little dinner get together with some friends at tortilla flats.
it was amazing! so many of my friends showed up ... including the incredible mr. radiofrank.
we took over a good chunk of that resto and did shots, drank lots and had a good time.
it was nice seeing some old friends too - like my friend sabina i worked with at ikea. my friend jenn who just moved home from miami. there was just so much love.
we were suppose to go to circa that night, but certain situations preventing that from happening.
c'est la vie.
but let's skip back to a little earlier on friday ... my work took me out for lunch.
holy hell, it was insane!
we went to banditos on king west. it's this authentic mexican restaurant. t'was fucking awesome. jack (the other pr guy) and the owner of the resto are friends. so they brought us out the most "extra" stuff. like ...
$1100 ORIGINAL MEXICAN TEQUILA!
on top of the shot of tequila, i also had a berry margarita.
and a vodka cranberry.
plus the most amazing lunch ever.
then ... they brought us all out this dessert. which i thought they brought out for my birthday ... so everyone sang me happy birthday.
then the owner brought out this fried ice cream with a candle that had fried dough covered in chocolate sauce and cinnamon. so everyone sang me happy birthday again. then i got chocolate sauce all over my shirt.
by this time, everyone was getting pretty wasted. myself included. so we all decided to put on sombreros and shoot toy guns.
then i made out with a plastic lizard.
put on a real mexican jacket and a string of bullets.

we left at 12 noon.
we arrived back at 2:15pm.
amazing.
on saturday, we just took it easy. i went to see transformers on the imax screen with my best friend kellan.
holy fucking shit. i was a lil' nervous to see transformers b/c i thought they would fuck it up.
but i actually liked it. i'm really happy to have seen it on the BIG screen.
on sunday, i went to see cirque du soleli with my mommy.

the show was amazing. i also found out about a ticket special happening, for those that live in toronto.
check sg canada east for my post about that. 
after the show, i spent the night at my parents in mississauga and we had thanksgiving dinner.
twas good times.! got so full on turkey.
and my mom bought me a wicked hot cookies and cream cake.
woohoo.
besides that, i havent had much else happen.
we got rid of 2 kittens this weekend.
peter and i just took it easy today. taking a nap at one point during the day.
i made a HUGE dinner of steak, potatoes, corn and garlic asparagus.
then peter's been watching CSI all afternoon.
radiofrank put the bug into my ear on friday about Gala 2008.
and now, i've been thinking about it lots.
i think i'm going to put up a post about who and what people want.
i have some ideas ... but i'm keeping that secret for now.
