O.K

So I've never posted anything like this before. I figure what the hell I am trying to change my life and do things differently and this might help. It might also be a bit theraputic. I'm 31 and in the process of getting divorced. I have a 2 1/2 year old son. I think that takes care of the basic who I am.

My future ex-wife and I had decided to seperate around last Christmas. We realized that we were better friends and parents then husband and wife. We have procrastinated a bit since then trying to get everything in order with selling our house and paying off combined debt before we actually filed the papers. So now the papers are getting filed, the house is on the market, and the debt is getting paid off.

So my thoughts right now keep coming back to this simple problem. How do you meet people and where do you go to meet them. I'm 31, divorced, and have a child not exactly the most appealing package. Also I have been off the market or out of the game so to speak for 7 years. Things seemed so much simpler back when I was 24. Meeting people was easier becuase my friends and I would hang out at our favorite pub everynight to the wee hours of the morning. 7 years later we all have kids and 9-5's that don't allow the freedom of youth.

Anyway thats it for now. That wasn't as hard as I thought it would be so I will probably do this again.

Wow. Saw your post in the DS group - first person on SG I've heard refer to my family's home county (Bucks) - My dad grew up on the Neshaminy Creek and my aunt lives in Trevose. My family's been in Bucks County since the 1800s (at least - I'm currently6 researching to see if rumours are true that an ancestor was in Washington's army when they were in Neshaminy and went back to live after the Revolutionary War. It's a folklore sort of family story or dubious origin, but I did find Washington's Army stayed there the second longest of any location in the War, so . . .)

Anyway, I'm Dave - just thought I'd say "Hi."
