So ... Katelyn, my oldest-age 11, had her cello recital tonight.
Of course it was marvelous. She played Beethoven!
The other day, before a trip to the playground, my youngest, Julie, walked up to the mirror, mumbling to herself "How do I look?" Her demeanor was very serious, but her gravitas was somewhat undercut by her fluffy pink coat, red knit hat that was half hanging off her head and by her enormous purple sunglasses.
She surveyed her appearance and declared, still stonefaced, "I look cool." Then she walked away!
And I have some new freelance work coming in and am sending out some poems for publication and have been on a roll with my book the past few days.
I feel lousy, physically, always tired with constant headaches and weird, prolonged dizzy spells, but I have been really productive where my writing is concerned, and it's MY writing, not the articles I have to do for work, so that's good.
I love this magazine. That's where I am sending these essays and poems I am working on check out

Kids are so adorabl with the things they do...
the other day I was teaching this little girl, she's about 6...and she says to me, in the middle of her lesson, out of the blue...
"did you know boy lions have long hair, and the girls have short?? Its different for people! isnt that weird!"
so cute!
Your daughters are awesome. Have you seen your doctor about your dizziness etc? If it's an ear infection, you may need medication for it. *worrywart*
