I will never understand why human beings do the things they do to each other ... the day I understand the cruelty and evil of abuse and rape and murder, the day it makes sense to me, is the day my soul will die ...
My daughter confronted her mother about not believing her about the abuse. The ex's new husband molested her. That's why I had to sue for sole custody, among other things, to protect them. I can't believe it happened to her. It happened to me, when I was six and seven. I looked at my newborn and swore, "Never. Never would it happen to her." My first though when my child was born, and I failed. And I can't forgive myself for it. And I will never forgive HIM either. I have never known such hatred. I would be willing to spend eternity in hell if it meant I could watch him burn. This hatred frightens me, and I can't let it go. Katelyn, my daughter, is the most courageous person I have ever known.
I was just reading on the rape/abuse group. It just happened to someone else, just last week, some poor innocent girl was hurt by a (I can't find the word). How could anyone find it in themselves to do such a thing to anyone?

i know you already know all this, but i will restate it anyway.
what happened to your daughter(s) was not your fault, it was the fault of the evil cruel bastard husband of your EX wife's.
YOU are the one that is helping them through this. you, just by being the loving father you are. by being there for them. by understanding.
YOU will help them heal so they don't end up like so many of us have.
sound like a lot of pressure? it's not. sound like a lot of responsibility? it is.........but not more than you already had when they were born.
it takes being a good parent. i can feel that that comes easy to you.
