Living with parents is a double-edged sword.
On the one hand you get free accomodation, clean clothes, cooked meals and transport whenever it's needed, but on the other hand, there's a payback. Conformity. Don't wear this, don't have your hair like that, don't stay out late. Conformity sucks

im lucky my parents have given up on me conforming and it only took 26 years
