Yesterday I went for my first ever tattoo, i was supposed to be getting it on Saturday but for fear of cancelling with so much time to think about it i got an earlier appointment

So all day at work I was terrfied, and I somehow thought the more people I told about it the more chance there was of me actually going through with it
So of I went, boyfriend in tow........

We got there and the tattoo artist wasn't in (more time to bail out i thought)

My boyfriend goes there regulary and was talking to the other guy, I honestly have no idea what about cos I was in cloud cuckoo land by this time, then disaster!!! the other tattoo guy said I should mabye change my mind about where I was getting it done I wanted it on the outside of my wrist but he said it would probably be better on the inside incase i wanted it hide it , so here I was with not only the pain to worry about but the position of it too......

In walks Soap (the guy doing my tattoo) and he's in no hurry but if I was to get this done I wanted him to hurry incase I ran out of the shop and away home!
Anyhoo, I went in got my wrist all cleaned and made the desision to get it on the inside of my wrist, he puts the transfer on ....and at that moment i think mabye henna tattoos will be much nicer

He says to me "I'll do a small line first, see how you get on"
So, it was get the whole thing and suffer the pain or walk about with a stupid line on my wrist forever..... so he started.......... and i waited and waited for the pain.......BUT IT DIDN'T COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So i now am very proud of myself for getting my first tattoo!!, and it will be one of many!
The sorest bit was getting it wiped with antiseptic after he'd finished.
This week I'm sure I'd asked about 300 people the same question (have you had a tattoo and did it hurt)
most said it did!!!!
