i didnt dance at shows until fairly recently, and although it may sound strange its actually more uncomfortable to stand there still. once you start to dance you forget anyone is around, and even if you remember the you recognise the stiffs as being the ones who are really missing out.
i really love mosh pits though. nowadays if i dont dance at a show i feel as though i had no fun.
no rhythm? yeah that makes it even tougher. i guess i've always taken it for granted because mine's always been pretty good...
oh about the girl: i think you ought to talk to her a few times before asking her anywhere...you're in the perfect situation to talk to her anyway, what with being the customer at a place she works. i think if she kinda gets to know you she'll be more likely to say yeah and you'll probably be more comfortable asking. just my 2 cents.
