Download was awesome, one of the best festival weekend I have ever had. So here's a bunch of pics, vids and stuff.
Lambrini girls are easy, Lambrucini Boys are easier... haha

The Bands, I was so happy that every band I wanted to see were good. All the headliners were amazing...
I simply had to watch Crue, they are one of my all-time favorite bands and as soon as I heard the opening to 'Kickstart My Heart' I knew I wasn't leaving until the show was over and they kicked ass... Maybe a little too much messing about between songs, especially from Tommy Lee.
So I only caught the last hour of Faith No More, but they ruled. Second gig since reforming and yeah... amazing. It raised the bar high for Slipknot, one thing that I like about Slipknot is that they have grown old gracefully. They aren't the shit-eating mentalists they once were, but they look so comfortable and like they are having fun on stage. Still intense and heavy as fuck, making 20,000 people sit down during 'spit it out' will looks nuts on the dvd...
I was wondered about Def Leppard, thought they would struggle after FNM and 'knot despite a slow start, they were a fantastic way to close the festival. So many great songs and also they provided one of the funniest moments of the weekend when Joe Elliot was talking about Rick Allen's (The Drummer) and had one of the most unfortunately epic slip of the tongue. It went some like this '...23 years ago Rick had a terrific accident...' I think he meant to say horrific... oops!
Waiting for the leppard!!!!

Limp Bizkit kicked ass too, awesome fun, pulled it together live and had a massive crowd.
Steel Panther were awesome the tent was packed out and so fucking funny. Lawnmower Deth were funny too, the guitarist (dressed as a clown) came on and smashed a guitar straight away and the rock snail was amazing.
Hardcore Superstar (How is this band not bigger, perfect early morning wake up call), Down, Backyard Babies, Journey, Volbeat (The had a 'Wall Of Love' like a wall of death but everybody hugs... awesome), Jettblack were the discovery of the weekend
OMFG JOURNEY

Biggest Loser was Marilyn Manson not much of a fan anymore, but really wanted to see him kick ass with some of his older songs, but he was fucking rubbish, crap set list, sounded crap and the best bit was fuck all people cheered for an encore... haha. Your not shocking anymore Brian and getting pampered after every song was just lame. Take a leaf out of Slipknot's book.
I have big up the Dodgems for being the most fun ever... when drunk. Spent so much money on them!!!

A few more pics...
