1. My name is Michael (but I prefer Mike) and I am originally from a village called Lazonby, which is near Carlisle in Cumbria . I have a love/hate relationship with Carlisle , I hate the place really, but despite this I feel some sort of weird loyalty and pride about it. I get annoyed when people think its in Scotland (or even Wales ) and support Carlisle Utd.
2. The name Thunder comes from years ago when a friend called me God of Thunder after the KISS song, it got shortened to Thunder. I always feel weird and slightly embarrassed when my friends introduce me to new people as Thunder.
3. I enjoy cycling mainly Trials and BMX. Its escapism for me, when I am riding its doesnt matter what is going on in my life, its clears my head and its just me, my bike and whatever lies in front of me. I have ridden a few demos, including the Rat Race in Manchester and Bristol and the Nation Outdoor Show in Birmingham , although it did end up filming most of the time at that one. I have made around 20-25 short videos, of myself and friends. It has given me some great adventures, laughs, run ins with the law and quite a few scars.

4. I like the Bee Gees *shame* but only the 70s stuff!
5. I am not a very open person and I have a lack of self confidence and a poor self image. I am always shy and nervous when meeting new people. I use an odd cocktail of clothes and booze to try and give the illusion of confidence, although sometimes I end up having this feeling of over confidence and cockiness.
