The good news is that it always grows out...even though it can take a while, depending on how bad it is. I once got a perm and my hair colored the same day. The stylist said it would be okay, but it wasn't. My hair was FRIED. I cut off as much as I could stand, and then had to wait like, a year, for the straw-like parts to grow out. Sucks, I know.
