~..and so my birthday fast approaches. ho hum, whatever
~being lackluster sucks balls
~We finally got someone to look at the ute and do the panel beating, with our future brother-in-law agreeing to do the paintjob...yay.
My brother and I are in the same boat though, we want to finish it but lack motivation. I need him to be a big part in this as he's the one that's done the most work to the ute thus far and therefore knows the history. It's kind of essential, as I found out when we went to the panel shop and the guy asked questions only my brother could answer.
Hahaha, and we're still having issues with the paint colour (will it ever end?).
~Old skaters still skating. My friend passed this little gem onto me. It's an article in the newspaper on 30-40 year olds going out night skating as they can't during the day. Interesting reading, well, haha, it is for me.
~While I was travelling to and from Canada, on a new fandagled plane with a version of pay tv, I came across this program called How Stuff Works. Tonight I found the website and I'm hooked. Check it out here
Here's one I found interesting. It's about a certain type of monkey and how the researchers treated them like, well, umm...just watch it. The closing statement really made me think about how we treat other species on this planet, and moreso, how we would treat a visitor to our planet (if we weren't hostile)
~I myspace alot, well, some. Anyway, I've come across a couple of good bands this way, eg: Five Finger Death Punch and Kill Whitney Dead. I've noticed how much I love metal in the process, as my myspace will attest to.
I've actually met a chickie off myspace as well. She seems pretty cool and into motorbikes as well, bonus! Come to think of it she's the second one I've met off myspace. I find it strange. I guess I just never thought of meeting anyone new through myspace. Oh well, can't complain. At least I know they can handle my music taste, it's always a good start.
~Going to have to shake things up a bit in my life. I'm getting bored with this humdrum existence I seem to have at the moment.*shakes head* I don't know. I'm not sure what's going on at the moment, with my life, my head, my heart. It all seems a bit beyond me. Work seems to be the only thing keeping me going and that's not a good sign for me. Dreading coming home (the term 'home' used loosely) is highly likely my main problem, although moving out will put me in financial difficulty it seems to me the only course of action that will resolve this situation as well as others. Let's just hope I magically find a cheap and reasonable place for myself. Hopefully I will be able to finally call a place my home.
~Well, on a brighter note, kinda, I've been hangin' to go for a ride on the bike but the weather has been shizzen houzzen. Been watching the MotoGP and it's not making it any easier on me. I'm so hanging to ride it isn't funny. Trackday would be even better but I'll take what I can get, lol, oh well.
I'll leave you with an old track from Down. A band I have loved for a while now and who Phil Anselmo(Pantera) sings for...
Down - Lifer
Late addition:
Kel Mitchell - Bus Stop
hahahahahaaaaa *cries with laughter* love it!!!!
