So so so so so....
Flight is booked and confirmed. I will be in Vancouver, Canadia (lol, my travel agent says it this way too) on the 16th of March 'til the 26th.
Booking accommodation, lift tickets and riding gear as we speak (gota love travel agents)
I'm weird. Yep, I admit it. I should be all excited and jumpy and all that but I'm like, 'meh, cool'. Very nonchalant. I've always been this way. My guess is I just like to keep all that energy for when I'm actually there. *Reflects & nods* (lol) makes sense to me.

The rebuild: me and my bro have been debating the colour of the engine believe it or not. *shakes head* Anyways, this ute is starting to feel like mine of late and I'm feeling alot more enthusiastic about it. It's a relief as I want this to feel like my baby as I do with my previous project, the Torana, which I totally rebuilt but didn't have a clue what I was doing so did everything ass-about-face. It is completed and mechanically is great but the body is back to where I started on it which is a huge disappointment but the lessons are now ingrained and being put to good use with the current project, the WB ute.
We will be painting the engine this weekend hopefully and I will endeavour to take some pics which will mean finally getting my digi from Dave. Man, it's been too long without it.

Interpersonal ramble

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Of late (probably longer) I've let myself slump into a strange and lonely place. It hasn't been pleasant but I feel I have achieved what I wanted from it which was to figure out what I truely like and if I'm being true to myself. It's amazing what influence our friends have on us whether we admit it or not.
I have been pacing myself instead of trying to come out of it quickly and it seems to be paying dividend. Even though my natural instinct is to want to rush it I'm just taking it step by step, like all the other things I'm trying to do at the moment. Lol, I always remind myself of something a friend once told me in response to other's wondering why something isn't done yet -
"Excuse me, but I don't remember putting a time schedule on it. If I get it done tomorrow or in 4 years what does it matter? I'll still have done it"
It works for me.
You see I'm a bit of a dreamer. I have alot of great ideas just not the time to make them all happen (nor the memory to remember most of them, lol) but this does lead me down some interesting paths. I tend to take that for granted until someone comments about how they would never be able to do it. I just think it's all in your attitude. Once you truly believe 'all things are possible' you realise it doesn't matter what you choose to do, nor how good you are at it, as long as you're doing it, you.. are.. doing it. Quite simple really. Labels are what confuses us.
This song is very relevant to the way I've been feeling. (Obviously I'm not going to Tennessee, lol, oh, and I'm spiritual not religious)
Arrested Development - Tennessee (turn the volume up for desired effect & turn down afterward, lol, other songs are louder)

End of ramble

Here's a song I listen to every time I get online. I don't like the band live (they're fucking horrible live), or at all for that matter but a friend made a cd with most of their albums on it for me and I dig the music (may have something to do with repitition, lol). Oh, and the footage has nothing to do with the band that's why I chose it, lmao.
AFI - Dancing through Sunday

HAHHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Remember this one?

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
yep, Snow - Informer. I loved this song, well, until I saw the clip. Call me racist but him being sooo white ruined it for me

and I'll leave you with...
Sean Paul - Get Busy. This clip always reminds me of when our relo's used to get together for parties and the old guy reminds me of my dad, lol.

Keep smiling...
