So I asked for the two weeks off today (half asleep) and my supervisor says no probs. Just have to fill out the leave request form, w00t!
I'm off to Canada, Whistler/Blackcombe, on the 14th or 15th of March to snowboard my ass off! Oh, and to catch up with 4 friends who just so happen to be there at the same time as each other. Probably stay with one of them as they have offered a place to crash while I'm there.
Note to self: buy thermals, lol
So I'm pretty stoked at my planning ahead for once now I just got to see about airfairs, lift tickets, etc, etc.
In the mean time I'm going to have to get cracking on the ute. Decided to put it all together then give it to whomever to bling it up for me, well, panelbeat and paint it anyway, lol. Still haven't found someone. I'm amazed at how many workshops only want insurance jobs, sad really.
I love being back at work which is a strange thing to escape my lips as I've never been the one to enjoy going back to work. I think it has to do with the physicalness that my job requires, plus this job has been getting my mindset right (notably - diet) and things have generally been happening the way I want them to ever since I started this job. Meh, maybe it's all in my head but I like it and it's helping immensely.
A friend has offered me a room at his house and I'm definitely considering it. I'm going to go say hi and check it out asap. It's a really nice place, hmm how do I describe it?? Anyway, I'll have to take photos and post em. I like the area and the house is a bit rustic, but only a bit. It just has good chi.
Anyways, talk soon and all that jazz funk groove
keep smilin

i'm jealous of your trip! i've been to montreal twice in my youth, and it was strictly for the sake of partying. i've always wanted to go back to actually see it. and yes, boston is always a good place to visit. as much as it pains me to say it though, new york wins out if you had to pick between the two.
