hmmm, what to say....
hi ya!!! hope your smiling.
Been looking at a shitload of rental properties of late, 1100 or so on the net last night alone. Inspecting one that is across the road from the beach tomorrow. Sounds cool but it doesn't have a garage. We'll see anyway.
I have tennis elbow, annoying as fuck, I don't even play tennis (I know, bad joke). The problem is with the muscles that pull the hand up, where it connects to the elbow is inflamed and the only (non drug) solution is not to use the hand in a manner that would require those muscles. It's my right hand, I'm a right hander, fat chance of that really. Been trying though, it ain't easy. Might get a quartizone (however you spell it) injection. It helped my Dad so it can't be all bad
Ahhh the life of a poet...
As I work I think of poems/lyrics/etc, problem is when I go to write them down I have forgotten what I had thought of, very frustrating. Did it today, it was for you actually (yes m'lady, you). I have bits of it written down, I just need to fill in the blanks, damn, it was so apt too, oh well. Soon.
Colour, colour, colour...grrr. Thinking of Satin White now and painting the mag centres black. In my head it looks good, better than champagne anyway as champers just doesn't suit the ute; engine bay - yes, ute - no. Been looking at heaps of cars and their colours as I drive around, was told this is the best way to get an idea of what it'll look like on a car, it has helped.
Going to talk to my bank about extending my loan next week, not only for the ute but the bike and holiday to Canada as well
INTERLUDE
my myspace song at the moment... Starry Eyed Surprise - Paul Oakenfold
(not a fan of the video now that I've seen it, good track though. Ummm try closing your eyes while listen may be better, lol)
aussie hiphop, they have some funny tracks. Exercise - Beats Working
Go here to Beats Working's myspace and listen to 'Who's That Man'. Funny track.
...and we're back
actually my elbow is playing up and I'm going to get off the compy so I'll leave you with this cop chasing a motorbike. The motorcyclist is just playing with the cop as you can hear from the revs (engine noise). I believe it's from the Ghost Rider series. Lol, love it when he pops a mono taking off from the cop, funny stuff. Poor copper.
late additions:
Almost forgot...
The Phillip Island track day was fuckin' wicked!!! The God's of the sky smiled upon us as we rode in sunny weather without a drop of rain, bit windy but nothing to complain about (my prayers were answered as it was torrential rain the two days before it, lol).
Rode like a fuckin' demon I did. Initially I was put in the super fast group so I told them that they'd just pull me out of it anyway so they put me in the slow group as there was room for one in that group. I really should have been in either of the two medium groups (slow or fast) but, meh, what ya gunna do? I didn't mind too much though as it boosted my confidence and showed me just how far I had come in my riding. I was passing everyone bar one rider (who was a friend of mine) and had my knee down around most corners (new experience for me) thanks to the slicks which were fantastic to say the least. They're still good for Winton on December 1st so I'm chuffed to bits. Now I just have to find a way of getting me and my bike there. Probably hire a ute, or..., hire a car & buy a trailer as I need a trailer anyway. We'll see.
I have a few professional pics from the day that I need to scan and resize, etc, etc, but don't hold your breath on that one.
Anyway, keep smiling x
British comedian, Al Murray, funny dude! (nothing is meant by this video posting other than a good laugh)
