I used to have severe down times myself, but the important thing to keep in mind is that everything happens for a reason. Even the shitty stuff happens for a reason, even if its to make you more jaded so you can suffer through future hardships more easily.
By the way... if you need any help with math stuff to bring grades up and get parents off your ass, just send me a message and I'll try to help. My schedule is freaking crazy this semester, but I check e-mail fairly frequiently.
