edit// fuck me sideways twice... Sin City looks fucking amazing. Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez together hot damn.
So yeah, I'm back from Atlanta and I am somewhat alive. Everyone seems to be surprised that I headed down there, like it was completely spontaneous or something, We had been planning it for at least 2 weeks or so, but since I was busy as shit working, I kind of forgot to tell people. Oh well.
It was good to see the family again, and I'm glad that little baby decided to stay in Loe's tummy for a bit longer. It was a crazy night, up til 4:30am trying to get things under control... and keep Loe calm as well.
9 days without the net and without getting much work done nearly drove me insane though. Ungh.
Last night I attended a preview of LIFE AQUATIC, the new Wes Anderson flick, and I laughed my ass off. If you liked BOTTLE ROCKET and RUSHMORE you'll enjoy yourself since its really a mix of the two. If you didnt like either of them, well.. I urge you to see a doctor to get whatever large blunt object removed from your foolish ass.
It feels like I'm just now sitting down to dig into things. I've moved my computer out of my office so that I can work from home and not be bothered by other people.
So here I am, listening to weird mixture of Harry Connick Jr. -Thievery Corporation - Four Tet, watching the snow through the window by my desk, and noshing on a bowl of white chicken chili and tortilla soup that I just made for the first time. Yes you're right, it is quite good, thank you.
I have decided that if/when time allows that I'll release 'directors cuts' of certain sets, the sets with the images that i wanted to be in a set but had to cut them for various reasons. But that's just another idea to be filed away in the 'if there were 36 fucking hours in a day' folder.
And congrats to Cassiopeia and Nicolelee who's sets went up while I've been out and I dont think I've ever had the chance to tell them 'congrats'. Oh, and congrats to Noelle on getting another one accepted. Congrats to Joebot for getting his arse married as well.
Ok... back to work.
