Society at large has a distorted perception about most subcultures bikers are no different. Appearance does not denote behaviourism and yet people still seem surprised when the guy with the nose ring and purple mohawk doesn't eat babies and is actually an alright guy. The Bulldog Bash is one of the safest and most crime free events you can go to but despite this Perception still causes problems. .

Everybody has their own idea of who should be doing a particular job and when someone doesn't fit into their conveniently structured organised view of how things are then they get a bit confused. Where I work the shopfloor staff are far more intelligent than most of the management, you don't really need intelligence to be retail management just a willingness to sacrifice your life on the altar of career advancement and not ask questions.
Im trying so hard not to get drawn into the whole world cup thing... but its so easy when there is nothing else to do and all the bikers have gone home! it just sucks you up and spit you out making sure i support everyone but the elgland side though, Joys of Irish family! woopah!

Currently in the throes of TT week (massive 2 week long motorbike road racing festival on the island) So im in the process of working 90 hr weeks and filling the rest of the time with booze and minimal sleep! some quality times though! Quality!

I know what you mean. I hate having to let the skeletons out of my closet because I worked so hard getting them stuffed away in there. Having to face a tough past again always sucks. I actually find it easier to open up to a stranger though. Maybe I'm just weird, but I'd rather let it out to someone who doesn't know or care much about me than to someone who might worry about me when they hear some of the things that I've had to suppress. I'm happy everything went well for you though.
