so still trying to get the americorp job. never thought it would be this hard to get a gig that is almost volunteer work. i'm looking at a pretty cool place near boston.
on st' patty's my buddy got a keg of guiness. nitrogen bottle and all. he is my hero. there are not enough times in my life that i could drink all the guinness i wanted.
been painting my brothers house. he's gonna rent it out so we have to cover up all the interesting colors with white. apparently people won't rent a place with colors they don't like, but they will rent a place with colors they don't notice.
i'm really digging this doing nothing thing. this is the first time since i was 13 that i've gone more than two weeks without either a full time job or full time school. other than the having no money thing it's sweet.
40 degrees (that's farenheit for you metric weirdo's) in the spring is completely different than the fall. couple more days like this and i'll unwrap my bike and see if i can get it running. been trying to get it running for a year now. i guess i should expect that since the bike is older than me.
and the shamelss ploy to have happy little numbers pop up on the top left of my screen:
1) what's the best way to find a cheap place to live?
2) is the boston group active? i'm too lazy to check it out myself untill i know if that's where i'm going.
3) i'm tired of the music i have, and what i hear on the radio: throw me some good bands that i may not have heard of, just a couple of your favorits?(pretend i structured that like a question)
4) what is you opinion on guinness?
5) do you know what 'good rats' is about?
6) i read 'the stranger' and was underwhelmed. do books that were once ground breaking lose their edge to later readers because their message has been echoed by other works?
7) am i the only one that like 'the apprentice?'
