Mild freakout. I had my birth certificate on my desk last week. Now I can't find it. (I need it for Canada).
If I can't find it, the only place to get it is the county in which I was born, which means a 4-6 hour drive, as I don't know which county would have it (I was adopted as a baby).

I'd (hastily) put it behind some books in a bookshelf so it wouldn't get ripped or destroyed while I rearranged my room the other day.
