I'm second guessing the artist I chose for my half sleeve. He's 4 hours away so I've been trying to email him some references so he can get an idea of what I want (per his request). Problem is, I never hear back from him. I know he is busy but I think this is very unprofessional. I don't doubt his talent but if he isn't coordinating with me, my 1st appt is gonna come up and he won't have my piece designed. My 1st appt is scheduled for December 30 which gives him plenty of notice if I cancel now. I'm pretty sure I won't get my $100 deposit back though. frown

Any thoughts?

He should have the decency to respond to you. Yes fin that unprofessional myself especially since you're going to be traveling so far.
I'm assuming there is no one closer to you?
Have you trie to contact him again? Call the shop directly maybe you can get an answer.

Unfortunately I haven't found any really great artists in the Tampa area. I have tried to contact him several times though...hopefully I can get this resolved b/c I was really looking forward to it.
