Well then, new blog time.
Not really a lot to report on the last few days to be honest. I've been working a lot as usual, but nothing particularly exciting going on. Finishing off our latest animation this week, which is looking quite good. Whenever we do animations, I always wish we had more time, but our client needs it for Wednesday so not really a lot we can do about it... ho hum.
I had a real down day on Friday. I was getting about 3 or 4 hours sleep every night last week, then literally didn't sleep at all on Thursday night. Insomnia's the most frustrating thing! Anyway then I was a wreck at work on Friday. I was shaking and mumbling and breaking down, and feeling really low. I went to my doctor and basically demanded an immediate appointment, and luckily managed to get one, the fruits of which were that I'm going to get fast-tracked to seeing the surgery counsellor hopefully in the next two weeks. And to coincide with this, my boss wanted to talk to me about my emotion state. Bear in mind my boss is also one of my closest friends, and the only person other than my doctors who I've told about my self-harm etc. She basically told me that she was getting scared for me, and she felt like she would have to tell someone like my parents about everything, which I obviously begged her not to do. So then she called the mental health crisis team about me (who are part of the organisation I've been trying to talk to for the lsat fortnight). She was on the phone to them for about half an hour. God knows what they talked about for that long, but anyway apparently now they're going to call me on Monday. So I dunno, I guess something helpful might actually happen soon, we'll see.
Anyway it's gone 3 in the morning and this isn't helping my sleeping patterns, so I should slip into dreamland.
I'll leave you with a few of my all-time youtbe favourites which I'm been rewatching! Enjoy!
Possibly my favourite video ever. This guy's a genius!
Part two of an amazing stop-frame animation called 'Dimensions of Dialogue' by Jan Svankmajer.
And last but not least another really innovative animation that I love.
Sweet.
Much love.
