Hello, hello.
As could be predicted, uppermost in the currently murky levels of my conscious mind is the film. However, an unexpected all-nighter has pooped me out so I'm not going to talk about it! Except to say you have to watch this video - the director thought we should have a DVD launch event, so he came up with a genius plan which we filmed:
Toaster DVD Launch (I'll work out how to get it up here straight away but at the moment doesn't like Google Video code...)
It was such a laugh to do - it was about 1 in the morning, and we were only about 5 metres away from the (surprisingly busy) main road and we certainly didn't have permission (where would the fun be in that?). We also couldn't get the lighter to work and we lost the lighting stick thing, so I ran into the subway, lit a cigarette and handed it to him for use as a kind of lighting device, greeted by the words "Alright, Adam, get ready to run!"
I was torn between a desire to get a good shot and a bizarre feeling of 'I don't want to die!!'
Anyway we got it and it looks wicked I think. Sorry if it looks stupidly dark - it looks different on different computers (obviuosly it's dark anyway but when I was editing it, it looked pretty good, so... there's just no telling!)
(In fact, it's just occurred to me that perhaps changing the brightness levels on your monitor would help - seems to have done the trick this end)
Anyway, that's that.
On another note, my Christmas tree has gone up and I felt Christmassy for the first time the other day! Sadly it hasn't stayed (my mind always seems reluctant to accept this season's atmosphere until right near the big day) but I know it's in the air! And on that note, I'm going to go and start my pressie shopping with all of my no money!
Rushing this blog so no pictures I'm afraid. Next time, next time...
=)

(PS anyone interested in filmmaking join the guerrilla film group and take part in the six-word-story competition to make a 5 minute film, 's gonna be a laugh!)
