Hello and welcome to my first official blog.
Hard to know what to say really, so I'll stick to the obligatory random comments, life updates and bizarre stories, which seem to be the staple for any good blog!
First on the agenda, I lost my job. YES! Well, I'm choosing to view this as a blessing in disguise. Essentially it was only a few insubstantial days a week at a discount bookstore, so nothing to cry over. But it did pose the awkward question of how I'm going to earn money for all the things I love!! The answer came the next morning when the card to my recently opened 500-approved-overdraft bank account arrived. Need I say more?!
Next, and most excitingly I feel, I'M GOING TO SEE MARTIN GRECH LIVE!! (see www.myspace.com/martingrechofficial, or www.martingrech.com, but it hasn't been updated in a while). So, roll on November the 16th! I've been on the lookout for live shows by this man for a very long time! And if you haven't heard of him, download/buy Open Heart Zoo (single for downloaders, similarly titled album for buyers). It will actually change your life!
And lastly, for I seem to be rambling... Jesus made a recent unnanounced appearance at a Kent pub. The religious figure from afar, and one-time star of hit bestseller "The Bible", decided to show himself to two unexpecting non-believers one chilly night last week in the form of spilt beer on a pub-garden table. I have yet to take a comment on my friend's official position following this incident, but I, for one, am not converted.
That's all folks, except to say Kudos to Winterpale for winning the random comment competition! He was, in fact, the ONLY person to enter. This makes me sad. =)
