Handmade valentines seem to be cuter when the maker is of grammar school age, however, not so much when the maker is in their late 20s. I had fun making them, and made sure to get glitter everywhere, but I hoped that they would come out better than they did I suppose it's the thought behind them. And not that I prescribe to any of the valentines hype -I do like the idea of letting those that you care about know how much they mean to you. But really, that should be something that is done more often than just February 14. So instead, I'd like the 14th to be the start of making feelings known on more of a regular occurrence. Daily tellings of feelings might get a little old, or too repetitive, but something small does go a long way, and I think that it's definitely a start...
Even frogs need love (these are fruit fly feeders that we made as valentine enrichment for our frogs)
Tomorrow, these two monsters will be a year old
In other news of the world, I received the results from the xrays and CT scan. No brain swelling or bleeding, but there is a small fracture above my right eye that just has to heal itself.
