Back to reality after two weeks of bliss - sort of bittersweet, but that's the way life goes I suppose. All summer long, I looked forward to this trip. It was amazing, but now it's over... My red ballon has up and flown away. The night before we left, I could hardly contain my excitement - like a kid waiting for santa and his bag of toys. All day at work, I watched the clock, trying to talk it into moving faster than what it was, and finally, car packed, eyerush and I headed out on adventure. The first big stop was Portland, Oregon, were we drank, lounged and relaxed here. I'm not a big wine fan, but I was introduced to several yummy wines while wine tasting through Portland wine country. We also spent an afternoon touring here. From Portland, we drove straight through Washington, through Idaho and onto to Canada, where we stayedhere. We drove back to Montana and spent the day here,
being chauffeured around. From there, we went back to Waterton, where we survived the hardest hike I've ever done. . We spent several days in Fernie, Canada before coming back to California, campinghere, and getting trashed here. Pictures to come later.
Tomorrow is back to work, which I'm not looking forward to. My hopes are that I'll wake up, and you'll still be at my side, where we can shower under the trees and look up at the sky...

Hopefully work isn't to bad after having a break.
