Ready, Aim...Kill?

We have a number of emergency response tactics at the zoo. There are protocols and different 'teams' responsible to play out certain procedures in the event that something happens. If an Animal gets out, animal management (that's the keeper staff) are notified and we're to create a perimeter around the animal. There is an EIT team that is responsible for darting the animal if that's the necessary means of stopping it (basically, the dart is a mild tranquilizer that knocks the animal down). If that doesn't work, then there's an ADT team. The ADT team is a group of people trained to shoot and kill an animal in a humane and timely way. I've been asked to join this team - problem is, I've never touched a gun. I don't like guns. I have no shooting experience. I do pretty well in emergency situations, which is a plus, but I'm not so sure how I feel about learning how to basically become an animal sharp shooter. My first meeting is on Thursday, I'll keep you updated on my gun adventures.
Home alone, house all to myself.

My mom has been on disability the last year and a half. I've recently been informed that she's headed back to work, although she's still disabled, in April. I'm not so sure how I feel about this. Knowing that she's still in pain, I don't want her to go back and injure herself more. On the other hand, I know the social atmosphere is something that she misses. She works night - 5pm to 1am. My brother works 2pm to 10pm if not later. I work 8am to 430pm. This means that I'll have the house to myself, probably more often than what I'd like, but good things could come from this. At least I hope so? I sort of like my mom home, she cooks and cleans and takes care of the dogs and stuff (I know, I'm spoiled, and I like being that way, and aren't looking forward to taking on more responsibility due to her not being here). On the other hand, there will be more naked time. Everyone likes naked time.
