You ever think,"I'm just burned out on the Beatles. I've heard it so many times, I can't really appreciate it for what it is?" Then you get high and you're like,"Oh yeah. This shit rules. I almost forgot."
On a side not. I have been sticking to my diet and hustling my BMX miles every night. I'm not winded anymore & I cover a lot of ground very fast. I lost 8lbs in 2 weeks. I drop weight pretty quick & I am very disciplined/stubborn, so at least I have that going for me. I'll drop the 25lbs I put on last year pretty quick. I also feel much better. I'm eating only whole food, from the earth with no red meat, processing, pasta, white rice, breads (damn it) & no dairy. I'm on high protein, good carbs for the exercise, low fat, low calorie intake. I basically eat beans for protein, brown rice (small portion), garlic, onions, jalapenos, green & red peppers, fruits, small portions of chicken breast & shrimp... All of it cooked natural kind of a deal. If we spent millions of years evolving by eating something, I eat it. If it was prepared, processed, battered or whatever, I don't eat it.
I've been guilty of the ego game lately. I had to slap myself out of manic mode & pay attention. I am getting myself in order.... Shit... Maybe this IS manic mode... hmmm. If I have a wild spirt of writing music, painting or some other artistic endeavor, I'll know. Anyway, too much has gone on too long. Sometimes you have to physically & emotionally clean house, remember that I'm a monkey, so is everyone else, reevaluate & reorganize. Desmond Morris seems to have missed a small important fact. Monkeys are opportunist. Watch the way they act. This is simple psychology. Monkeys do fucked up shit to each other constantly. We are monkeys. Even the ones who seem to be more than monkeys are as much monkeys as all of us, if not more so. Some just hide it &/or deny it. Apply all monkey traits to all people and you got it figured out. Watch your back while keeping your eye on the prize or you WILL be broadsided. Prize: happiness, organization, less stress, not taking life too serious, letting go, living. life... Yeah... I'm ditching the bullshit from my life. I've been working on it slowly but now I DO see real change. Now... do the hokie pokie & turn yourself around... THAT... is what IT... is all about. Never forget that shit.

Good food does makes a difference.
Yeah, best to keep monkey behavior in mind, but I prefer to relax around friends.
Less stress is important for overall health too.
I'm fine once I get out of the house as well. I've been scheduling times to play with a friend. He also wants to get back in to playing, so it works perfectly.
