Well that was one of my toughest years yet. It didnt kill me so I guess next year is going to have to have to be freaking awesome to make up for it ! Although the storm hasnt completely passed I'm starting to really appreciate the good that has come from all the shit this years thrown at me.
The big win for this year was moving to Sydney. What a rad city !!! I landed (what i thought was) my dream job as a senior lighting programmer at the Sydney Opera House and got to work with some pretty cool people.

It kinda actually isnt that much of a great job, but its rad money and now that im settled in im pretty excited about job hunting and maybe even starting a completely new career !
The other big win for this year was meeting the 3 fucking brilliant people i live with. Its the first share house ive ever lived in where my housemates feel like my family. Theyre truely brilliant people with hearts of gold ! To celebrate the festive season we had a few friends over for an afternoon of heavy drinking and a home cooked feast.
(guy on left is my besty from perth who was in town and made an appearance)
(our backyard was made for drinking on lazy sundays)
(it wouldnt be a drunk xmas gathering without a donkey)
I should also make a special mention to the two people who are quite possibly the funnest drinking buddies a guy could ask for !
(this is bob. theres never a dull moment with bob)
(and this is Phylicia. we get drunk, go adventuring, then go home and cuddle, she's pretty cute. but now she's gone to europe on a five year visa )
So yeah, I think Ive managed to lay a pretty okay foundation for the year ahead. Im pretty nervous but im just trying to relax and have fun. I have some cool travel plans to look forward to aswell. Road tripping around North America and a quick trip to Indonesia to see my cousin. I think itll be a good year.
I wonder what I'll be doing this time next year.....
