First of all, to those of you I know, and those of you I don't-Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy whatever it is you do tomorrow, and be safe.
It seems as though we take stock of our lives around these times of year. One because the calander says so, but also because we spend time around those we are closest too.
My life has changed in such an incredible way in the last year. Not knocking where I was last year, at all. Just that things are different. I have changed in many ways, I have improved, I have grown stronger.
I am blessed, and thankful(for the sake of keeping with the holiday theme).
I am sitting in a bar near the ocean in one of my favorite parts of California right now. I am watching a burst of sun cut through the rain clouds and illuminate the Pacific. I am writing the best story I have ever written in my life. I am in the best shape I have ever been in, physically, and working on my mental health on a day to day basis. I look across the table, and the man who I adore is working on a project that makes my heart and my soul proud.
I go home in a few weeks to see my family, and I am met with incredible news that my mother, who yesterday went to her specialist, is not going to need as much surgery as they thought, and that our holiday together will not be met with her on bed rest.
If that was not enough, which it is. I am right on the edge of having my dream job. Sales for a publishing/ad house, which also involves research and writing. All we have to do is decide on how I will be paid, due to the state of the economy and people's fear of bringing on new hires. The owner pretty much told me in so many words that he needs me in order for his company to grow. I get to work from home too, only going into the office(walking distance) once a week.
In the end, we have rough spots, we have battles. Right now, every thing is coming up Milhouse.
Have a great holiday, see you in a few days.

Your phone probably gave you Janice Dickinson herpes. I would dispose of it asap.
