Excerpt from my paper journal

And while I'm not sure yet whether the events of the past couple of weeks will help or hinder our friendship (the next few months will show this I'm sure), I do think that it was something we both needed.
In fact, I think you said that.
You said lots of things.
I think all three of us got something...

last night i was convinced someone was in my flat. i heard them come up the stairs. but no one was there...

i had thoughts about how i exist in the wrong era. it's too bright and fluid. i prefer subtle, muted and rigid.

i also kept thinking about the summers that i spent in holland. two in particular.

the first was the summer that...

The rain was immense - Wakefield was completely flooded and ground to a halt. I like the rain when you have nowhere to be.

Thank you for this journal. It's just what I needed to read right now, for some reason.

I'll have the words to return your email really soon. smile

i once heard someone say that the concept of moderation seems a little extreme, and i agree.

moderation is idiocy perpetuated by the alcohol industry, which bombards us with warnings about 'drinking responsibly' in order to absolve itself from the irresponsibility that alcohol awakens in just about anyone at some time or another.

even years from now i will never stop trusting extremes.
i will...

you can still have those kinds of weekends with a mortgage, you just panic a bit more after about the amount of money you've spent wink
pixiebelle:
Hope the move went well!
How did you know I listened to shitty music?! tongue
My favourite recipe at the mo would be chicken breast stuffed with sundried tomatoes, pesto, porcini mushrooms and philly. Wrap it up in a sliver of bacon and cook in foil at 180 for about 45 minutes, cook uncovered for another ten to fifteen minutes and then serve with cous cous and veg of your choice.
Veggie version if applicable, prepare the lot with tofu or quorn pieces wrap in foil and oven cook. smile #
Healthy and tastes pretty ace. biggrin

Thankyou! Its very rare for me to take a photo of myself so i thought I'd share
I took my microdermal out because it was lifting up due to the movement due to where its placed and kept catching which was making it more and more irritated and I could see that it was only going to get worse. It wasn't too bad to remove but I think one more is going to have to come out and it looks like its going to be more difficult to take out. Don't let this put you off though. The others healed like a dream and don't bother me at all. Its just the two that are/were bothering me were placed so when I moved they moved across my collarbone and I think that pressure is what caused them to lift up.
They were a piece of cake to have done. I was thinking they were going to hurt quite a bit but not at all and they felt ok soon as they were in. Its just the sting of the dermal punch and a slightly sore few seconds as they stretch the skin as they go in but not a big deal at all, my traguses have been about 20x more painful! If you want them go for it! I'm going to let where mine were heal for a while and then see if I can get them done but moved slightly so they work with the two left and I don't have the same problem.
Yeah it takes a while to get used to it and the get the dose etc right. Yeah it can take ages sometimes I went through a few years of trying different medication and having it either not work so well and/or make me feel terrible or stop having an effect. I'm settled now thankfully so I just have to have a check up every few months and go in when I feel I need it. I hope it continues to work well for you, I know how horrible it can be!
Sounds great, extra hands are always good when moving. I moved mostly by myself this time with many trips with my Clio rammed with stuff, thankfully I had a friend to help me carry furniture up the stairs into my flat though!

I will do, that would be amazing and v sweet of you, thank you!
