After a year in Omaha, I'm pretty depressed about the lack of meaningful social relationships I've been able to develop here (basically zero). Besides the weather, it really makes me miss the UK. Way better than the three years I lost living in Texas though.
Of course, I'm living on the culturally devoid, yuppie side of town. I may move across town here soon.
Regardless, I'm still pretty sure I'll be moving back to California. Maybe late 2008, early 2009.
Besides that, I'm pretty excited that one of my favorite punk bands of the past couple of years, Against Me! is coming through Omaha on tour pretty much because I asked them to!
