I don't go to concerts very often. So this might not mean much. But last night was without question the most amazing concert experience I have ever had!
We had floor tickets and we got there early enough to stand on the 2nd row of people, right at the middle of the stage. Every time Dolores O'Riordan got on the mic to have a little chat with the Audience, she was standing right in front of us. I could litterally see the sweat coming out of her pores. She made eye contact with me a couple of times during the show, it was the coolest thing! I know I sound like a total teeny bopper fan-boy, but I just couldn't help being so excited.
The guys in the band didn't really put on much of a visual show. I don't know if that is typical for this group. They just hung out in the backround making the music. But if you've ever seen the Cranberries live then you know that Dolores more than makes up for it. She is so incredibly dynamic and uninhibited. Right from the first song, she is bouncing around everywhere! The thing about this woman is that she cannot dance for shit. I mean, she is more awkward than an epyleptic robot with two left feet. But that doesn't matter because she has so much energy and passion that it's nothing short of a phenomenal experience to watch her on stage. You can't help but fall in love with her BECAUSE she is so stiff. She is a 38 yr old mother of four, but on stage she's like a little girl who is just letting the rythym do with her body whatever it likes.
I understand that the group is going to release a new album next year. I don't think they played any songs at the concert from that. I recognized almost all of them and the few I didn't recognize are from Dolores's solo albums. Either way, I can't wait for it to come out.
I am not sure what I am going to do with the rest of my week here. I have some 'errands' that need taking care of, but after that I just might end up goin back to Arizona earlier than planned. We'll see.

Shhhh. I like to keep that side of me discrete. Other wise I'll have everyone and their mom inviting me to their shindigs and you know how difficult that is for me ![wink](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/wink.6a5555b139e7.gif)
