Hello! It's me again.
Well, nothing too exciting has happened in my life over the last few weeks. We are still dealing with the shortage of people at work. I was spoken to in a gruff manner by another employee who was complaining about being left shorthanded. I mocked him for being a crybaby and reminded him that things could have been worse. He could have lost his own job.
My lawn is coming along pretty well. I am growing it in patches. I intend to seed the second patch this Monday. I've had some setbacks with the flowers, however. Of the first 40 flowers that I planted, only one of them hasn't died. She's a resilient little girl. She probably doesn't get enough water and enough sun. The soil I potted her was likely not fertilized well. And there have been a couple of times when I plain forgot about tending to her. But she's been holding on as all of her sisters have been fallen around her. She's a delicate flower, but she's tough as nails. I named her Delaney.
Emma Frost and Betsy are starting to accept each other. They still get into fights, but they haven't hurt each other seriously yet. This is the closest that they've ever been without trying to kill each other.
Laser KIttehs! You'd almost think they were friends!
This coming Saturday the SGAZ crew will be having an event at the Salt River. I've never been to the river, although I've lived in the Phoenix area for over nine years. So, I'm quite excited about it. The premise is that you take inflatable inner tubes and float down the river the whole afternoon. I'm probably going to rent a tube for myself, but I also want to purchase a small tube to carry my cooler in . My friend Scotty says that it is a full day's ride and it's a good idea to bring something to eat, drink, and get wasted on!
I haven't had a chance to spend much time with Angela over the last couple of weeks. She had to move out closer to where she works, which is about an hour and a half away from where I live. If you figure that I have to bring her to my place and then eventually take her home again, it adds up to 6 hours of driving every time I want to see her. I love that girl and all, but I just can't bring myself to do that every weekend. I think I am going to officially start considering this a long distance relationship.
I am off the next couple of days, but I don't really have anything planned. I think I am just going to stay home and veg out.
That is all!
