Oh my gosh. I hung out yesterday with humans outside of a photo shoot or a bar! It was refreshing.
Of course, it was not a day without photos.
I do wish I were more articulate when sober. Seems it is only when I've been drinking that my mind slows down enough for me to string together spoken words in some pleasing way.
We had coffee. Silencia knows it is a gift from god.
Casper was there, too, before she had to go sling anal beads and disinfect glory holes. She said I looked cheerful, which was honestly really nice to hear... and made me feel cheerful. We finish our coffees and walked around a bit.
I had my long lens on me. I was trying to zoom in on some kids at a playground. Then OH SHIT
Objects in the lens are further than they appear.
We walked to the Lone Fir because it is a nice cemetery and cemeteries provide for comic relief and photo ops.
There were the familiar crows at the graveyard and Silencia and I both wanted to capture one such bird as we left. But it tried to fly away.
It was a nice, overcast day for walking around. But I was hungry. We went to Hungry Tiger Too. Not the most beautifully prepared food, but greasy and tasty.
I wanted to continue hanging out, but I also didn't want to impose. We parted ways. I cried.
But then I got home and Medieval II was waiting for me. So I made a catholic army and marched north to conquer the pagan vastlands. That was satisfying. Then I was up until 3am tracking the drums for Labour 2: The Slaying of the Hydra. Drum tracking is tricky. It is where the real skill of a producer is tested.

Damnit. Forget my previous comment. I just saw what you were talking about. I want to shoot pictures, but not be in pictures. For now, anyway.
