Gets me hot:
Dudes that stick to their word, take risks, make sacrifices and face consequences.
Example: So I was watching one of my favorite shows last night: Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Anyway the plot got twisted into this government conspiracy cover up of some anthrax leaked from a lab and the Feds didn't want the public to know about. So Dect. Benson decides to leak the report to a reporter who has been sticking his nose into the case, even though she could go to jail for doing so. To make a long story short the reporter goes to jail because he runs the article and refuses to name his source (Benson). When she finds out that the feds can hold him until he names names she goes to visit him in jail. He says: "what are you doing here? they will check my visitors." She says she used an alias, yadda yadda and proceeds to try to convince him he doesn't need to do this and he should give her up, etc. He says: "no you don't belong in here you need to be out there helping people. there is no freedom without a free press (I start getting wet), I chose to write the article and I will serve the consequences." Then he says thanks and "Don't come back, Olivia." hangs up the visitor booth phone and walks away.
HOT. So fucking hot. I'd fuck a guy like that in a heart beat.
First of all the free press line turns me on because I was a communications major in college. I chose PR instead of journalism but for a while I seriously considered being a reporter.
Second, it reminds me of a time in highschool. I was on the student body council at my catholic highschool. My role was to be the liaison between the faculty and the students. I had to go to teacher staff meetings and stuff like that, but i was also allowed to represent the students to the adminstration. I set up a suggestion box where students could express their concerns or desires for school policies. I promised all of the students that I would keep thier names and information private so that they could have an open forum to really say what they think. i kept a private log for the students and typed up their suggestion so that even thier handwriting could not give them away. Well the principal, Sister Margaret, really didn't like this idea of mine and one day she calls me into the office. She tells me she's not going to listen to any of the students suggestions unless I give her the names of all the students using the suggestion box. I told her no. I had given my word to protect the identity of these students and I would not release my book to her. I told her she could choose not to consider the anonymous student suggestions, but that it wouldn't make the problems go away. I think she would have liked to suspend me, but she couldn't really do anything to me. BOO-YA!
Me FTW!
So I actually would have been a good reporter. I'd go to jail to protect my source. and that's the kind of shit that turns me on in other people.
What about you...what personality characteristics turn you on?

I wish there were times I was more like that, sticking to your guns and never compromising...
