Welp, today is my first day back at work. No, I'm not excited at all. And here's why:
I go away to a country for 3 months to train people to do MY job. To get them up to a manageable speed etc. While there, I am treated with respect and treated like a god.
I come back here to my old job (the one that sent me anyways) and I get the same ol' salary, the same old CONTRACT work, the same everything. No applause, no ticker tape. No raise. No staff position (like what I was being fed before I left). Hard economic times, they claim.
Whatever. Its only for 3 months. My ear will be to the ground looking for bigger and better in the meantime. But I cannot and will not be the little storm cloud running around the office like before. Get my job done, go home.

I'm so sorry that really sucks. The economy will turn around soon. Then you should stick it to them. Remember that tiny bubbles make everyone happy. Aka Champagne. Its a fun drunk go get smashed and forget your worries.
