Good news! A care package arrived for me today, for the darling people in Kung Fu Nation. I now have a shirt that says something about me. Bonus points, it even fits!
New clothing always makes me happy. Sometimes I think nice new clothes can eclipse anything in the world for a moment. When the world is a less than pleasant place, this is a good thing. When the world is a fantastic place, this is still a good thing. Retail therapy is in no way folly.
Speaking of retail therapy, I've been buying rather a lot of new things recently, in an effort to turn my appartment from 'a place that I sleep in' to my home. Many of the things I want are unavailable in this dysmal city, but with a little work I should be able to make things livable. I love decorating, it gets me all excited.
Would anyone like to see my new house? It's kinda like my old house, 'cept I don't hate it.
