So, it was broght to my attention a couple weeks ago that my friends and I are forming a band called The Booze-Aids. Apparently I'm on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Of course, I barely play guitar and haven't sung since Special Chorus in middle school (special chorus wasn't a bad thing, we were the best singers in the school). Of course, my voice broke, and now I'm more of a sax man than a singer.
Anyway, it got me thinking. Why don't I play guitar? I own one, crappy as it may be. I've been thinking of picking up a relatively cheap acoustic so I can learn. I always wanted to. I don't want anything too crappy, but nothing too expensive either.
I need something to increase my chances with the ladies. Right now all I can say is "Hey, wanna see me do some differential equations?"

guitar is fun. you can go the goth route and learn bass, though. except then you'd have to wear make up and stuff.. and listen to bad music to "play" along with.
master michael hedges' songs on guitar!
