Why do people feel they need to cover songs? Write your own! Sure, there are some good covers out there. But there are more terrible covers. Examples:

Britney Spears - "Satisfaction" and "I Love Rock and Roll"
Nickelback/Kid Rock - "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting"
Limp Bizkit - "Behind Blue Eyes"
Marilyn Manson - "Tainted Love" "Sweet Dreams"
Snoop Dogg - "Riders on the Storm"

Bad music makes me die a little inside....
