So, first things first. I broke things off with Tom about a month ago. He wasn't treating me very well, so I cut it off. However, I did still move to Salem. In short, Salem is a terrible city to reside in, but I do like my apartment and my solitude. Tom is helping me adjust to the city by being a much better friend than he ever was a boyfriend.
As well, about a month ago, I was pretty sick. 103 temp and breathing problems, as well as a horrible cough and some other symptoms. I finally shook the virus, but I still am having problems breathing. I went to the doctor then and they said it was probably because I was coughing so heavily. My heart was racing, and my heart beat was out of pattern, so they almost sent me to the ER. They advised that I come back if this persisted.
Well, I still cannot breath, but only when I am immobile. I only wheeze when I try to sleep, in which results a complete lack of sleep. I cannot catch my breath when I am sitting down, or driving, and it is very hard to exhale at times. Needless to say, I went back to the doctor. My lungs sounded alright at the time, but my heart was still beating extremely fast, and it was still an abnormal rhythm, which made the doctor concerned. They said it does not sound like asthma, but that is the cheapest treatment of the options. They feel if they can get me to breathe normally, everything else will fall in place. I now have 2 inhalers, in which both do absolutely nothing for me. If this keeps up for another two weeks, I have to have my chest x-rayed and my heart possibly examined.
I am terrified. I had asthma as a child, and I know this is not it. I guess I will write more when I know what is going on.
Hope everyone is well and I miss you all!

Lame about Salem, I hate Salem.
