Soooo the holidays are here. Hmmm. What to think about that. It's already snowed twice, and I live in the desert. It's been pretty neat if I may say so myself. It's actually pretty funny how the majority of the city freaks out when it snows, numerous amounts of car accidents. Mostly fender benders. Or just guardrails.
The mountains look amazing though. I love the way they peek through the night's darkness all frosted. I hope this weather continues. I also hope I can get my car windows fixed before the next round. Automatic windows sometimes decide to just all stop working at once. While one of my back windows was halfway down. it's been pretty fun waking up with a snow filled backseat. Luckily a plastic bag has worked after that. It's still pretty cold though, with a 2 year old in the back seat. Don't worry, I've got her on the other side of the car. Anyone know what it may be? I couldn't imagine it'd be the motors, they can't all just go out at the same time could they? The driver window gave about a month before the other three gave up together. Weird. Did I mention I need a new car battery too? It struggles to start in the cold. Clicks and everything. I'm getting tired of having to readjust my clock. And having a half warm have freezing car. It's been quite the nuisance lately, can't you tell?
Aside from my car and this obnoxious immune system of mine, the holidays are looking alright this year. Shopping for a 2 year old is cake. She still appreciates the little (and cheaper) things.
*pauses to cough 8 times. No really, 8 times.*
I wanna get her a playhouse. The problem is, how to do set it up for her in her room on Christmas Eve without waking her. Hmmmm.. Maybe I'll just wrap it and let her tear it open.
We should probably be putting up our tree soon too. Honestly, I'm just kinda scared to pull it out of the storage closet, haha. About a week and a half ago I heard a mouse in my walls (I assume it was in the wall anyway.) We couldn't fin it anywhere. Took me an hour after that to get my ass in there and do those dishes. Of course, he was in the kitchen. I named him Phred btw. He hasn't come back to visit.
Waiting on these guys from Aeropostale's to call me in. I need to start a 2nd job. I'm just not making enough working 2 nights a week at the bar. I wonder how awkward it's gonna be for the other seasonals there, me being the tattooed girl that wears heavy make-up and the only dark clothing Aeropostale's has working at a store like that. They don't even know how well I can sell clothes. And match them.
Well, this Darvacet is beginning to do me some good now. Time for vitamins, warm tea and some good quality sleep to put this cold back in it's place. I hope you guys had a good weekend.
