WARNING! ANGRY RANT AHEAD. Hell you just may appreciate it...
I'm so tired of these corporate fucks being so judgemental. I mean seriously guys, if someone's test scores are ridiculously higher than anyone else's but they have a criminal history (btw that's not even a conviction and is defferred) why turn them down? It makes no sense. Sure DRUG TEST ME. Hell drug test me weekly. I bet I'd pass. Now, if my criminal history had been theft or something of the like, or assult, I'd understand. But geez guys. drug charges are as common in this city as just about anything else. People make mistakes. And it's people like you who make it damned near impossible to get ahead. I refuse to let the corporate world trap me. I WILL succeed you fucking bastards. And next time you see me, wanting a job or something form me, MY HAIR WILL BE EVEN BRIGHTER.
YOU GUYS WANTED ME. Even though I didn't have the one year experience that was initially requested. But oh no, god forbid anyone make a mistake a few years back.
*poof*
Awesome career opportunity gone.
I'm getting sick of being judged by my appearance. You know, just because I have tattoos and piercings, and bright hair doesn't mean I'm a drug addict junkie who is capable of nothing.
It's amazing how nice some people are on the phone, until they see you in person. Their whole attitude changes.
I COULD PROBABLY ACCOMPLISH MORE THAN HALF THE OTHER FUCKS YOU GUYS INTERVIEWED IN HALF THE TIME!
What ever happened to equal opportunity?
Someone please answer me that.

I used to work for one guy who had a fuckin army of pseudo cowboy/chero clones working for him. They all drove F-150s' (21 of them to be exact), frowned upon using "big words", worshiped the Dallas Cowboys etc. etc. Needless to say everybody else was treated like shit but don't work there anymore, they've moved on and left those assholes there to rot in their perfect little world of mind numbing routine.
Those kinds of people are happy with that kind of bullshit and will never be anything more than what they are now, people like you on the other hand move on to better things.
Trust me, things will get better with time.
equal oppourtunity is to protect people from discrimination for things that they can't help, like race, gender, sexual preference, ...making yourself all tattooed and pierced was your decision and one that has ramifications.
I too, have been the target of unfair judgement but thats the price I pay for what I have done TO MYSELF.
You have altered your looks by a million percent since I first met you here on SG. I would have never done so if I thought I would wanna be corporate. I waited till I knew what I was gonna be/ do before I got tattoos that were visible, up until that point I got stuff no one would see....
I don't think the corporate world is gonna bend to you , I have heard the corporate world is all about conformity, are you stuck on this path or are you open to now changing your goals to something more attainable?
Maybe your decision to get so visibly inked and pierced is making the choices for you now? just some things to think about , take care xoxoxo T
