"You take life seriously, but every now and then you want to lighten up and just be in the moment. Small activities tickle your funny bone. Enjoy the fun without an agenda, and you'll find that the good times keep coming."
SO TRUE! I feel so much better when I don't try to plan everything..
I actually feel MORE in control the LESS to-do lists I make!
Although I have a long one for this weekend:
1) Finish Christmas/ 'Greed-mas' shopping
(Only have about 13 places to go to, and only two are at the mall thank god)
2) Spend my Turkey Bucks at Henry's
(God bless them for doing this, I shop there ALL the time since it's a couple blocks from my house~ I've got two turkeys for CHEAP so far and have another $25 off my next purchase!)
3) Get the laundry done that we've been putting off allllllll week
4) Clean the house
(At least it's easy. Having a tiny studio has it's definite advantages!)
5) Make cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning
(YUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I never let myself eat those devilish things!)
6) Water my plants
(Must. not. forget!)
(This is about what my 'jungle' looks like, but not quite so jungly yet.. they're all pretty small.. for now)
7) Research orchid care
(Our landlords gave us a beautiful Red Star Firecracker orchid for Christmas.. We gave them a plant too. I love that!)
8) Do my boyfriend's hair that I've been trying to make time for for weeks.
9) Make time to relax and have fun and get laid AND go to the gym
(this is the funniest shirt ever. I'll have to make my boi one to wear to the next rave we go to hahahaha)
10) Watch movies with the fam and have Christmas Eve dinner
(who doesn't love the Grinch?!)
11) Make time to work on my dad's website
(I'm just going to have to work outside of time this weekend!)
12) Research cameras so I have some inkling of what kind I want
(I am SOOO lost; all I know is the normal point and shoot digis don't produce the quality I want)
Here's to a busy, but fun, holiday weekend! Hope you guys all have a blast too!
